Ruth Ann Charlesworth Phillips

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24th, 2023, at the age of 76. Ruth was born on April 30th,1946 to Winford and Celia Charlesworth in Price, Utah.

Ruth graduated from Carbon High School, Price Utah. Married Dennis K. Judd, 1965. Ruth and Dennis moved to Salt Lake City where they had three children. After a marriage of twelve years, they divorced. In 1983, Ruth found her best friend and constant companion, William G. Phillips. The couple married and spent 26 happy years together. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and homemaker. She loved animals and had several dogs, cats, and even a horse as a pet over the years. She enjoyed laughing and playing cards for hours with her friends. Also loved swimming, camping, and dancing. We were all blessed to have Ruth in our lives, and she will be greatly missed.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband William, ex-husband Dennis, brother Richard, grandson Cobey, and both parents. She is survived by her sister, Donna (Tom), daughters Deena (James), Nicole, and son Shawn (Penny). Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at 11:00am at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
