Ella fue la persona más hermosa, amable, hospitalaria y con muchos otros atributos maravillosos.
Por muchos años me hospedaba en su casa para participar de las Conferencias Generales. 
Tenía el deseo y se lo manifesté, de ir a visitarle cuando el Templo de Salt Lake estuviera nuevamente en función.
Que el Señor le tenga en su Santo Reino y que en ese hermoso lugar, pueda tener la oportunidad de tocar el piano y estar con su hija Kim que tocaba el violí y el piano, también junto a su esposo que ya partío de esta tierra.
Desde Chile para una hermosa persona que nunca olvidaré.

I lived across the street from Nellie & her family plus I went to school with her daughter Kimm at Whittier Elementary School. Nellie & her family would always be there to give a helping hand to their neighbor & a wave! My fond memories of them both was when Kimm would play her violin & her mom Nellie would play her piano together when I would go over to their house. Your mom was amazing on the piano and organ. And she was a great cook also.  She is going to be greatly missed. I have missed Kimm and think about all  the  time too! My thoughts and prayers go out  to you and   your family. And I wish you a fast recovery from your stroke 

Nellie is my Aunt it is with great sadness to hear of her unexpected death. Nellie was proud and dedicated member of her church. She expressed the joy in playing piano for her church members prior to her diagnosis of Parkinson disease.
Nellie will be missed not only by me but also her 
son Will and other family members. 
Miss you Aunt Nellie most especially your advice 
and laughter.

I was saddened  to hear Nellie passed away  suddenly after troubling news her son Will suffered a recent stroke.  Nellie was a thoughtful and kind lady.  We shared fine conservations over the phone many times.  She enjoyed meditating/reading the Bible and was spiritual minded.  Even though our form of worship was different, we still had a common ground.  She had mentioned on occasion  the untimely death of her daughter.  I would comfort her to know that our loving Creator has a master plan.  To resurrect dear loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.  
Nellie told me her son Will had done hard work on her home which was in needed repair.  She told me how much she really appreciated that and it really made me happy she was being cared for.  She was also a talented piano player which impressed me.
I do pray for her knowing she is now entrusted in God's loving care and her son Will makes a recovery along with his supportive family.
 

I am grateful for the times I've spent with Nellie talking about our lives, helping lift each other up and being a listing ear.
I am also grateful for the tender mercy of getting to spend a day in the temple with Nellie doing temple sealings the Spirt was so strong that day. I was so happy to see her there and the healing and strides she had made before her death. Also each time we chatted or saw each other her warm smile and big hugs. She was a good neighbor ward friend. I am also happy she is no longer in emotional or physically pain and that she is with her daughter Kim again. I'm  pretty sure thier reunion was beautiful. Nellie was my good friend and neighbor. I have fond memories of her playing the piano for me, telling me all about her daughter, Kimm, and  sharing stories of her mission at the Family History Library. She enjoyed riding around to see Christmas lights and the luminary at the cemetery. She also loved being a piano teacher and the ward organist for many years. She loved God and Jesus Christ and shared her testimony every chance she got. She was an example to me of enduring difficult challenges with faith, hope, and cheerfulness. I know she loved her children with all her heart. I'm so happy she is reunited with Kimm. I also know how much she loved Will and was so thankful for all he did to serve her, fix up her house, and take care of her the last few years. I love Nellie and will miss her dearly, till we meet again.
