

“Manny”
Manny was born March 7th, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Donald Allen Dobson and Pauline Snowden-Dobson. Manny attended Cyprus High School in Magna, Utah and joined the Army at the age of 17. He served in Vietnam as Crew Chief on a Medical Helicopter, until he was honourably discharged in April of 1971. Upon returning from Vietnam, he met and married his first wife, Kathy and they together had 3 children, Bryan, Christy and Derick. They later divorced. He then met and married his second wife, Kathy Ann, and they together had two children, Kassandra and Danny. They later divorced.
Manny was a certified, skilled welder in all metals, as well as a talented pipe fitter and fabricator. He worked for his Dad at DWAMCO for many years, alongside his brothers, sons and nephews.
Manny loved all things outdoors; camping, hunting, and above all, fishing. He also enjoyed time with his family by watching movies, being outdoors, sharing stories and cracking jokes. Manny’s sense of humor was full of whit and great punch lines, and he always kept you laughing. He will be remembered as the “fun and favorite uncle” by many of his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his sister Paula Dobson, his children Bryan, Christy, Kassy and Danny. His granddaughters, Brittany, Kayla, Ashlyn, Kamryn and Parker. His two grandsons Daniel and Asher, and three great-grandchildren Xander, Oliver and Everly.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his siblings Don, Sweetie, Dottie, Scott and John, as well as his son Derick.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21st at 1:00 PM, at Camp Williams, 17800 S. 1700 W., Bluffdale Utah.
