Nancy L. Cheney Adams, age 63, passed away on December 25, 2016 in Magna, Utah. She was born on July 1, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marquis Selar Cheney and Helen Kuehn. She graduated from Granite High School. She married Harold David Adams on March 17, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple. Nancy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She played the organ at church and at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She was a great mother to her children and loved to tend her Grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Harold David Adams; children, Jennifer, Christiana (Craig Bredthauer), Shane (Liz Varney Simons), Heather (John Miller), Tiffany (Jeremy Barton), Erin, Ethan (Kim Kirkpatrick); sister, Janean (Jerry Vincent); and 13 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marsha; son-in-law, Craig Bredthauer; and daughter, Heidi.
The family will have a memorial for her at a park in the spring around Mother’s Day.
