Melissa Renea Schultz, 39, passed away on January 26, 2013 in Rochester, Minnesota. She was born on January 18, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roger William Lopez and Carla Dawn Anderson Martinez. She married Shon Schultz on September 24, 1993 in West Valley City, Utah. They had two daughters together, Makaylyn and Kailee.

Melissa enjoyed planting flowers, shopping, fishing, camping, mowing her lawn, spending time with her kids, dancing, singing, watching E! Network, sleeping, reading books and magazines, facebook, bowling, cleaning and walking her puppers.

She is survived by her husband, Shon; daughters, Makaylyn and Kailee; mother, Carla D. (Vidaleto) Martinez; sisters, Amber Henderson, Dawn Martinez; grandparents, Fonta Anderson and June Anderson and special aunt, Rose Bailey. She is preceded in death by her father, Roger William Lopez; grandmother, Hazel Lopez, grandfather, Ted Lopez.

Funeral services for Melissa will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT, where friends may visit with the family from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
