Karen Steadman Edwards

Karen graduated from Kearns High School in 1980. She played softball, liked to bowl and watch her sons play baseball. She was a huge Packers fan. She made wreaths, crocheted, and tried any and all crafts.

She married "The love of her life" Robert Edwards in 1993. She was the baby of the family and was never allowed to forget it. Karen was always kind, loving, compassionate and a true friend.

Karen worked at Zions Bank, then Salt Lake County, and finally the Utah State Tax Commission, where she retired after 32 years on July 1, 2020.

Survivors: Son Dustin Rhoads (Hailey), Mother Deanna Steadman, Sisters Deborah Delay (Phil), Sherry Edwards, Bille Jean Wheatherspoon (Dave), Nancy Anderson (Mike). Brothers Allan Wignall, James Wignall and Brian Wignall. Grandchildren Mason, Briella, Emma and Karsin Rhoads. Her best Friend, Martin Simmons.

Preceded in Death: Father Darrel Delwine Steadman, husband Robert Edwards, son Daniel Rhoads, brother Darrel D. Steadman.

Funeral Services on Friday Oct. 29, 2021, 10am-12pm, at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home. 4335 West 4100 South West Valley, Utah.
