Karen Ivy Wardle Daybell, age 75, passed away on September 23, 2021. She was born on February 8, 1946 in Roosevelt, Utah to John Merton Wardle and Gabriella "Rella" Williams. Before moving to Salt Lake City for her senior year in high school she cherished her years spent in Duchesne where she was a cheerleader and made many wonderful memories with family and friends. She graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City before moving on to Cosmetology school. She married her eternal sweetheart, Brent Daybell on September 3, 1982. They were later sealed in the Dallas LDS Temple.
Her favorite joy in life were her "kids", her poodles. She took great pride in making her home clean and comfortable for all. She loved to collect beautiful, elegantly dressed porcelain dolls. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and served in many callings throughout her life.
Karen will be greatly missed by her husband, Brent Daybell; her siblings Virginia (Jimmy) Brotherson, Rhea Ann (Monty) Johnson, Linda Powell, Gertrude "Trudy" (Richard) Johnson, Michael (Glenna) Wardle, Andy (Joni) Wardle; sister-in-law Sue Wardle; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Merton "Bill" Wardle, Wallace Reed Wardle, and Bradley Wardle; and brother-in-law David Powell.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 30 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the LDS Ward House located at 8136 S Old Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1 at the same location at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment to follow services at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4400 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah.
