Joan Lucille Butterworth

Joan was born in Los Angeles, California on October 18, 1930 to Dorothy Lucille Van Trump and Einner Oswald Sutherland. She attended Bingham High School and the University of Utah. She married George Raymond Butterworth on February 9, 1952. They were married until George passed.

They raised four children, Lynda, (deceased 1993), Bryan, Dyanna and George (Lourie) Butterworth. She loved her grandchildren, Justin Butterworth, Quinn (Audray) Hoskins, Levi Butterworth, Corbin (Laura) Butterworth and Corie (Kassondra) Mikesell; greatgrandchildren, Anthony, Prisicilla, Paris and Boston Hoskins, Devony and Ekaja Butterworth, Ember Butterworth and Melaine Butterworth, Emma, Shilo, Kaleb and Aspen.

Joan is survived by her brother Jeff (Cheryl) Sutherland.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Lynda, her parents and brothers Dorein and Van.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 12:00-1:45 prior to the service.
