Jimmy W Van Tassell

Jimmy W Van Tassell was born on March 19, 1947, to J Wayne and Alice Oleta Van Tassell in Vernal, Utah. While growing up he was an avid sports player. He married Margo Ann Holladay on April 1, 1966. He served in the Navy for nine years including as a radar technician aboard the USS Albany. After coming home to Utah he started a lifelong career with GE working on medical equipment.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wayne and Oleta Van Tassell; sisters, Eileen Orton and Susan Lundberg. He is survived by wife, Margo Ann Van Tassell; brother, Steven Van Tassell; sister, Kerri Van Tassell; daughter, Jamie (Lance); sons, Jason (Tami), Michael (Brandy), Mark (Nicole), Jeff (Erika) and 16 grandchildren.

A viewing for Jimmy will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84120. Following the viewing will be a graveside service at 3:15 PM at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84120.
