He was born August 29, 1935 in Ogden, Utah to La Vain Eddington and Virginia Vernon Everts. Jerry graduated from Morgan High School in 1955, Weber College (Business) 1957, and the University of Utah (BS) 1960. He married Gertrude Vizza-Wolford on September 10, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Jerry was a good Christian. He was a quiet, intelligent, humble man. He was always positive and kind to anyone he knew or met. He loved sports, traveling, camping, fishing, and history. He loved telling stories of the past about his family and was well versed on many subjects. Jerry was also a very good listener, and never was judgmental.
He is survived by his stepchildren: Ronald Wolford and wife Dolores, Robert Wolford and wife Shirley. Siblings: David Eddington, BerDean Eddington, Mark Everts, and Steve Everts.
Preceded in death by his wife “Trudy” of 40 years (June 20, 2017).
