James H Culwell, 87, passed away April 1, 2017. He was born February 3, 1930 in Putnam, Texas. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of loyal service. He loved every day and every moment serving his country.
He is survived by his significant other, Teresa Macceo; daughter, Sandra Martin; son, Danny Culwell; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; loyal friends, Dave Cruz and Martha Monte; and childhood friend, Bill Everitt.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park.
