Gerald "Jerry" Eugene Park

Gerald Eugene Park (Jerry) passed away May 4, 2021 at his home of natural causes. He was born on July 28, 1966 to Larenzo and Diane Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jerry graduated from West Jordan High School Class of 1984. He served in the Army National Guard where he was trained in field artillery and as a Military Police (MP). He was honorably discharged in 1990. Jerry had a determined spirit and always tried to better himself. He was independent, stubborn, and generous to a fault. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke with his nieces and nephews. Jerry enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and driving his truck cross country. He spent hours on the road listening to his books. He will be missed.

Jerry is survived by his parents, Larenzo and Diane Park, brothers Terence (Heidi), Gary, and Dary (Jodi), nephews Tayler, Kaleb, Terence (Lauren), nieces Marimargret, Marista (Brett), and Shelby (Chris), and great-niece Kristlee.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 am at Valley View Cemetery.
