“Gone Fishing”
Ernest “Ernie” Garcia passed away peacefully April 3, 2010 with his loving family by his side.
He was born July 23, 1951 to Morey Garcia and Emma Dean (deceased) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He married Toni Steele March 30, 1974 in El Monte, California. They have 2 children, Mike, La Puente, California and Sherri, Murray, Utah. They moved to Kearns, Utah in 1984, he worked for Okland Construction for 20 years. Every day was always his last day.
He is survived by Toni; his children, his father, Morey; sisters, Diane, Theresa (Sal) and Jeanette (David); brother, Bobby; father and mother-in-law, Norm and JoAnn Steele; granddaughters, Dylan, Kylee and Shaylee, PaPa loved his girls! He is also survived by many loving relatives. Preceded in death by his grandparents, mom and sister-in-law, Diane.
Viewing will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. His wishes were to be cremated.
