Emma Jean Larsen, 88 years old passed away 30 April 2024, in West Valley City, Utah. Emma was born 3 September 1935 in Salida, Colorado to Fredrick Joseph Bertschy and Jessie Myrtle Wallace. She was married to Delmer La Dean Larsen on 15 November 1952 in Buena Vista, Colorado. In her younger years she loved to paint ceramics, crochet, sew and garden. She enjoyed playing the harmonica. Over the years she had many beloved pets, including dogs, cats and birds. She loved spending time with her children, grand-children and great, grand-children.
She is survived by her children: Fred (Christine) Larsen, David (Shaunie) Larsen, Jamey (Lynn) Larsen and Lori Stevenson (Lonny Allred). Her sisters: Josephine Provance and Ruth Whitman and her brother John Bertschy. 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren with one on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband Del, her parents, 5 sisters and 1 brother.
It was her wish that there would be no services. Her ashes will be buried at Browns Canyon Cemetery, Colorado at a later time.
