Edward Shepard

Edward Joseph Shepard (Shep) passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was 82. Edward was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edward Shepard Sr. and Marian Rakowski, October 15, 1931. He honorably served our country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He married Elizabeth Wilson Driffill on June 16, 1954. He retired from Kennecott in 1985. He is survived by his children, Tina (Dave), Tonya (Craig), Tom (Diane), Merrie, Dean (Norma), 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and close friend and companion, Jean. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one granddaughter, April. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to VA Medical Center for their wonderful care and support, and the Harmon Home for their many years of love and friendship. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday November 16, 2013 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna. Visitations will be 6-8 pm Friday November 15, 2013 and 10-10:45 am Saturday.
