I have such fond memories of Edith Petersen and Kent Schlappi. We were all in the Class of 1955 and graduated from Delta High School. My husband died after many years of battling Alzheimers. I send my love to beautiful Edith and all the family members.

I was so sad to hear of your mom's passing. She will be missed by so many. 
I remember fondly the many summer camping trips that our families took together. 
I remember her laugh and the way she would say "Oh scrud".
Sorry I couldn't be there for the funeral. I was on vacation. I would have loved to give each of you a big hug. 
Know that she is in a better place. I can only imagine the reunion that has taken place in heaven. I sure that my mom (Myrna) and Edith laughed with joy when they saw each other. 
I know how your hearts are breaking right now but with time you will learn to deal with the loss that you feel. 
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I first met the delightful Edith Petersen when we became Heritage Halls dorm mates at BYU. What a great two years we had. Then we both got married and went our separate ways. We both graduated from the Y with our husbands.  I remember how much Edith loved and admired her sister, Mae Jean, and her wonderful parents.  Edith was absolutely fantastic.  She could and did do everything.  Nothing was ever too much trouble for her if it meant being kind and helping someone.  I have some idea how great your loss is, but I am happy for Edith.  I didn't know about her suffering.  Now, she's Edith again.  May the Lord bless and strengten each of you.

Edith, want great memories of you and my parents playing cards, camping and all the other things you did together. You are a great lady and so very special to my family. I am so glad that you can know rest and enjoy all the people that are waiting for you , enjoy your son that you have waited so long to be with.  Edith I hope there is diet coke in heaven along with tab so you and mom (Myrna) and set and catch up on everything. We will miss you!  Thanks for all you showed me

Larry, we are saddened by the news from Lida about your loss of your wife Edith.  Rose Marie has been keeping us updated especially about your mom Aunt Marie. Although I can't be with you while you remember your loved one, you're in my thoughts from afar.

We first met sweet Edith at Legacy last September. She became very dear to our family, along with all of the other residents.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this difficult time.  As one of the cute Legacy CNAs said to us yesterday, "Edith is no longer suffering.  We should be happy for her."  We are happy for her, but we will miss her, too.

Edith will be missed I am just grateful that you battle is over and she is in a much better place.
