Deanna Anderson Weathers beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Deanna passed away peacefully at Home on April 4, 2023. She was born on December 22, 1947, in Castledale, Utah to Clell E. and Ella Ward Anderson.
As a child, she told us she was always barefoot and could run faster and climb higher than most of the boys. She often told us of her first car, a convertible. She loved that car and all of the memories she had in it. My Dad said once they were driving and he woke up in the passenger seat to her driving with her left foot on the dash and her right foot on the gas. That was her carefree attitude.
She graduated from West High School in 1966. She met the love of her life, William Grady Weathers Jr., in Mountain Home, Idaho where he was stationed in the United States Air Force. They married on February 3, 1968, and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on December 19, 1981. They just celebrated 54 years together. Through this union they welcomed five beautiful children, four daughters: Shannon, Nicole, Kimberly and Ashley; and one son: Shane.
She kept beautiful photo album journals and videos of her children's whole lives, which she absolutely cherished. She made holidays, birthdays, and family vacations so very special for us, never forgetting a single thing.
She was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.
We are sure going to miss her loving, caring and sassy personality and her gentle smirks.
She went through so many trials and tribulations in this life.
The hardest of all was losing a daughter and son; and her Mom and Dad. She missed them all so terribly much, but she still remained strong for her family with a fighting personality.
Whenever she got herself into a “predicament” she would always smile and make light of the situation.
The most important thing to her was her family. She always looked forward to family gatherings, always asking months in advance what we had planned for birthdays and holidays. At the end of every family event we always got a big hug and kiss from Mom and in her words “I love you, please call me when you get home, so I don’t worry”. We will miss your daily calls and voicemails.
It is hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful, wonderful, loving, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend that is loved so deeply.
She is survived by her husband, William Grady Weathers Jr.; Her children, Shannon(John), Kimberly and Ashley(Adam), Twelve Grandchildren; Cortney, Cody, Colton(Zaydi), Cailey, Bailey, Caitlyn, Clayton, McKenzie, Brittney, Addison, Cayson and Caden. Two Brothers; Terry(Gayla) and Kay(Colleen).
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole; son, Shane; and parents, Clell and Ella Anderson.
This is Not Goodbye - this is “See you later Mom”. We are sending you a big hug and a Kiss. Please let us know that you made it home ok, so we don’t worry, until we can be with you again. We love you so much.
