Dawnetta Ruth Grange Hoecherl

1935-2012

Dawnetta Ruth Grange Hoecherl, born February 20, 1935 to Donald Elmer Grange and Ivy Ruth Goodall Grange in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully at her home on December 8, 2012. She was a phenomenal artist with a caring heart and a great capacity to love. Her beautiful smile was a warm welcome for her friends and family. She enjoyed time spent with her family, as well as, her choice lifelong friends. Dawnetta faced some difficult challenges in her life, for which she calmly rose to the occasion. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Jana Dawn Hoecherl, husband, Arthur William Hoecherl, grandson, Benjamin Brian Hoecherl. Survived by her sister; Sherle (Jerry) Campbell, children; Jeff (Laurie) Hoecherl, Brian Hoecherl, Aaron Hoecherl, Darl (Tom) Sorenson, Shireene Higgins, 15 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00 am with a viewing one hour prior to the service at the Kearns 14th Ward House, 4234 W 5015 S Kearns, UT. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S West Valley City, UT. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.
