David James Tuscic, 37, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 18, 2020 in West Valley City, Utah from stomach cancer. He was born on December 2, 1982 in Beaver, Pennsylvania to Phyllis R. Olsen and David A. Tuscic. He graduated in 2001 from Taylorsville High School.
David was a very talented artist. He enjoyed cooking, collecting items such as comic books and baseball cards. He loved working on computers and did that as a side job. He would ride his BMX bike and skateboard all over town. He could build his bikes from scratch.
David is survived by his son, Shayden J. Tuscic; mother, Phyllis Olsen and many father figures, David A. Tuscic, Michael Stock and Rick Olsen. His bloodline comes from the Yasick family. Siblings, Amanda Benavidez, Zac Benavidez , Stephanie (Travis Dickinson) Maxfield, Joshua (Mickela) Stock, Tawnya (John Hunkin) Stock, Cassie (Nathan) Tuscic; step siblings, Jason Olsen, Christopher (Danielle) Olsen, Amy (Jamie) Smith; grandfather, Steve Tuscic, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts uncles and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen (John) Cumpston, Nancy Tuscic and Leo (Diane) McCullough
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 4-8pm at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover medical and funeral costs.
