I was thinking about sister Shelton so I Googled her and found that she had passed 3 yrs ago. From 1979-83 Sister Shelton was my seminary teacher in Los Angeles. I always enjoyed her emthusiam for church history and she helped me to decide to serve a mission. She will always be in my heart! 

Claudia always impressed me with her knowledge and presentations at the Museum of Church History and Art. I enjoyed our association there.  I was sad to hear of her passing.

Claudia was a good friend and a terrific mentor to me at the LDS Church Museum of History.  She knew so much and willingly shared it.  She also shared her knowledge of woodworking, crafts, food storage and preparation, chickens eggs, all good and kind things.  I miss her and her great spirit. I have known Claudia since I was little.   Her Dad and my Dad was Home Teaching Companions and her made me a gumball machine.  Claudia was a very sweet lady.  She will truly be missed.

My young daughter and I lived next door to Claudia. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Claudia was very knowledgeable about tools and woodworking and often told us "with the right tool you can do anything!".  

It was important to Claudia to provide youth alternatives to playing video games. My daughter and I will cherish the memories, lessons, and great summers we had raising backyard chickens with her, and all the obstacle courses, and chalk mazes in her driveway. 

I will especially miss all our conversations at the fence. Claudia knew, talked too and waived to everyone and their dog, up, down and around the street. She never spoke ill of anyone. I often thought Claudia generated a real sense of community and neighborliness among many of us on. Claudia sure will be missed.

Claudia was a dedicated docent for many years at the LDS Church History Museum. She loved history and enjoyed sharing it. She gave of her time and talents freely and touched many lives. We missed her after she resigned due to health issues, but she was never forgotten. We express our condolences and sympathy to her family.

Claudia was a Celestial soul. I'm glad I got to know her through the Church Museum.

We are sorry for you loss. We lived in Claudia's ward for years.  My husband Bob was a Home Teaching Partner with Red for years.  I have some of her crafts she was a talented lady.  We now live in Ivins, our thoughts are with your family.

It was so nice reading about Claudia's service in the church.  We loved Uncle Red, Richard, Claudia and Kim.  Even though due to our ages we never did much together, it has always been nice knowing that we have relatives in our family that put God first.  It gives those who follow behind confidence that we come from good roots and that if Claudia and all of you can be great examples through lifes hardships, so can we.  We have always been treated kindly by all of you and pray that you may be comforted through this hard time.
