Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022 in West Valley City, Utah.
She was born on October 8, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alton L. Mefford and Jean Spencer Mefford. She married her loving sweetheart, Donald Kay Carpenter on January 21, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Anne retired as the church secretary from Evangelical Free Church of Salt Lake City in 2020. She was a Prayer Warrior, did Cross-Stitch, making cards to give to first responders and children’s hospitals and senior centers.
Anne loved spending time with her family especially her grandson, Jayden.
Don preceded her in 2016. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Chris), Mike and Steve Carpenter; grandsons, Marcus Holt and Jayden Carpenter; brother, Allen (Karen) Mefford.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S. Following the graveside service, a Memorial Service will be held at the Grace Baptist Church, 4737 W. 4100 S., beginning at 11:00 am.
