Love and hugs to all the Miller cousins. Aunt Lois will be warmly remembered for her affectionate and cheerful ways in our extended family.  I will especially always admire her bravery and dignity in her long widowhood.
She traveled to Texas for my wedding many years ago and stayed at my parents’ house. She was my roommate for a few days. On my big day I went back upstairs after a quick  breakfast and she had made my bed!  She said I should not have to do that on my wedding day.
Eternal rest grant unto her and perpetual light shine upon her.

To the Miller Family,
 I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Sometimes there are no words to say when there is such love for someone and then they are no longer in your life. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this grieving time. May the peace of God bring a stich of healing to your hearts as the days move on and comfort you with his peace.

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Lois. As kids, we loved visiting our Miller cousins and Aunt Lois was always so good-natured about our large, noisy family's visits, smiling and laughing with us. Our extended Pauly family gatherings on Tamarack Street or at a campground were always fun, with Aunt Lois's contagious laugh ringing out.
For one special trip, Aunt Lois and I drove to Michigan (through Canada) to attend my brother's wedding. I picked her up in Buffalo and we headed off together on a really fun "girls road trip"!  She was a delightful travel companion.
I know my mother loved visiting, traveling with, and chatting on the phone with her sister, and will miss her greatly.  My condolences to all the Pauly and Miller families.

I am so sorry that I  cannot  be with you to say a final  goodbye to my 
 dear sister Lois,
  I have so many memories--walking to elementary school together -
riding the bus to  high school-- and later in life all the trips we took.

Know  that all the Millers are in my prayers and that your  Mom will remain in my heart forever.

We always had great fun with our Miller cousins:  family camping trips (see photo), swimming in the pool at your house on Pamela Court, and riding bikes on the hills in California.  In February 2024, on my late father's birthday, I posted a picture of my parents to instagram.  And guess who put a like on it ... none other than millerloisa!  At age 89 she always stayed engaged and up-to-date.  Such a sweet and beloved Aunt.  With heartfelt sympathy at her passing,

Aunt Lois was always a warm and cheerful person and had an engaging smile.   She  will always hold a special place in my heart.  She  was an inspiration to so many, and her spirit will forever live on.  I am so sorry to all my Miller cousins for your loss.  May you find strength and peace during this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to the Miller/Pauly family. Lois was my neighbor for the last 12 years. I couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. We weren't close, but anytime I stopped over to say hello she was always smiling and with interesting things to say. I loved hearing about her senior day trips, the vacations she went on or was planning and how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. 
My cat, Igor, decided it was his job to watch over her. He didn't feel his morning watch was done until he saw her get the morning paper.  My self-appointed job was bring her the first of the season local grown strawberries and getting her a red flowering plant for the corner of her fence line. Lois laughed when I told her, but also appreciated.
Last month I brought her eclipse glasse with the hope we could watch some of it together. She won't be here, but I will raise a glass in the moment, in her memory. 
Rest in Peace Lois, thank you for being a great neighbor and role model. I'm a little better having known you.

Lois was the youngest child in our family and I was the oldest.  All four children  were  very close in age and it was great to grow up with such wonderful siblings.  Lois was joyful, pleasant and accomplished. She was always willing to help me and the others when we needed aid.  And in her adult life Lois continued to be a wonderful person as well as a great mother. I had a very pleasant phone conversation with her just two days before she passed away, and I thought she was doing well.  Now I am praying to her in Heaven with the hope that being there is the very happy reward she surely deserves. To all my Miller Cousins and their families - Aunt Lois was a beautiful, kind, adventurous, thoughtful and bright woman.  We were very lucky to have her in our lives.   She was always so positive and she spread cheer to all around her.  Here we are at Uncle Don's 90th Birthday in Jan 2020.  I am so happy that I was able to spend time with her not so long ago. All of my memories of Aunt Lois include her smile and her laugh.  She was always a positive soul who shared kind words and loving thoughts.  She always remembered us by sending a Christmas card every year.  She will be missed.  Heaven gained an angel.
