I didn't know Leonard very long.   Delivered Meals to him once or twice a month for the last 5 years.  I found him to be very astute, with a good sense of humor and an easy laugh.  He always had stories  and recipes to share ...often from his days in the service.  He knew I was a nurse and we often went round and round about his medical issues and "those damn doctors...they don't have clue what they are doing..."
He was my favorite on the route and I always made sure he was my last delivery so we could spend a little time  catching up.  I will miss you Leonard.

My family (babbit) had the pleasure of being neighbors for over 20 years. I remember when I was younger and going over and brushing Thor on his back steps getting paper bag fulls of hair. He was like a grandpa to all of us. He got to watch all 4 of us grow up and even meet our kids. He had the most amazing stories and always could make you smile.  He will be missed greatly and will carry on in each and every one of our hearts that he has touched. I am deeply sorry for the loved ones he has left behind.
