VIRGINIA KOGUT SWEAT, 98 years old of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on April 18, 1916, Mrs. Sweat had been resident of Palm Beach County for more than 70 years. She served as a kindergarten teacher's aide and a caregiver to 2 foster children as well as elderly friends and neighbors in need. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Brantley E. Sweat and Thomas B. Sweat; her grandchildren, Shane T. Horvath, Victoria Worsham, William Tedcastle, Joseph T. Sweat, and Keri A. Sweat; and her great grandchildren, Bradley and Lauren Worsham. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Sweat; her children, Mary C. Tedcastle and Joseph L. Sweat; and her grandson, Brantley J. Sweat. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida.
