Sebrina Lang Crumity was born on October 11, 1956 in Pomona Park, Florida. She was the fourth child born to Serena Williams and now-late Walter Turner. Sebrina learned the importance of loving and taking care of family at an early age. As her health continued to deteriorate she never stopped worrying about her family. Sebrina possessed a very pleasing personality, as she was loved and respected by many She was always willing to help others. Although the last years of her life were difficult, she never stopped fighting.
Sebrina attended and graduated from Crescent City High School. She then attended Florida State University for two years. Sebrina decided to leave Tallahassee and move to West Palm Beach. She worked as an aide at Gold Coast Academy for several years. She was instrumental in helping many students finally graduate. Years later Sebrina decided to return to school and pursue her degree. She enrolled at Florida Atlantic University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with honors. She worked as a Probation Officer for the Department of Justice until her health declined.
Sebrina confessed Christ at an early age, and grew up in the Baptist Church as a child. After moving to Palm Beach County she joined the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Later, she attended Christ Fellowship and The Church of God and Christ Healing and Delivering.
On Tuesday morning, January 26, God saw and heard his servant and said “Well done my good and faithful servant; it is time to be with Me where the streets are paved with gold and pain and suffering does not exist. Sebrina is probably saying “Thank you Jesus” as she is now free. She leaves to mourn her loving family to share and treasure her love; her loving husband Jack, daughters Sparkle (Anthony), Traci (Ben) ,step children Andre, Shayla Siblings: Carrie, New York City, Eula, deceased, Jessie, Palatka, Florida, Marvella, Palatka Florida ,James (Beverly) Killeen, Texas, Alphonso (Annette), Shirley, Charlotte, North Carolina, and April (Steve), San Mateo, Florida. Nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
