Sally Blaine Truesdale, 83 years old, passed away January 2, 2021 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is survived by her husband Sheridan “Butch”, son Scott and his wife Janet in Wellington, FL , daughter Beth Ann Greenberg and son-in-law Michael Greenberg, and grandson Jason Greenberg in Alpharetta, GA.
Sally was born August 9, 1938 in Indiana, PA and raised in Homer City, PA, the daughter of O’Hara Gibson and Beatrice Elizabeth Blaine. She had one younger brother Alex who predeceased her.
She graduated Homer City High School and Indiana State Teachers College, majoring in elementary education. While attending college she was a member of Phi Mu sorority. Following graduation she taught elementary school in Levittown, PA.
She married Sheridan “Butch” Truesdale of Upper St. Clair, PA August 19, 1961. Sally and her two children resided in Bowling Green, OH, Springfield, MA, and Fairfield county, CT. prior to the family relocating to Palm Beach County, FL.
She was a long time member, board member, and past president of Palm Beach Gardens Woman’s Club. She and Butch owned and operated a small bath and bedding business in Tequesta, FL.
For several years she served as a precinct clerk for the Palm Beach County Election system.
Sally requested no formal funeral or memorial services. She was cremated by Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center. Donations in her name to favorite charities are welcome.
