Mr. Saleeby was born on September 12, 1934 in Reidsville, NC and resided in West Palm Beach, Florida.
He was an avid lover of cats and dogs and volunteered countless hours throughout the years at local animal shelters. In addition, he rescued many strays himself and lovingly and meticulously cared for them all. He was a member of West Palm Beach Church of Christ.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Bonnie Saleeby of Fort Pierce; step-son, Garold (Mary) Cannon; Nephews, George B. (Cindy) Saleeby & Kenneth E. Applebee; Nieces, Stephanie S. (Eric) Woertz and Amy Saleeby Ash.
Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn June Saleeby, his parents, George A. & Hattie Saleeby, his brothers, George A. Saleeby, Jr. & John S. Saleeby and his niece, Simone Saleeby Applebee.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 08, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park, located at 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
