Randy Hall, age 73, of Lake Worth, died of a sudden stroke during his afternoon nap on November 6, 2015. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of almost 52 years, Mary Lou Fort Hall, his sister, Valerie Hall Smith, his daughters, Andrea Hall Duenas and Cynthia Hall Othus, his grandchildren, Randy and Lena Duenas, and his dog and constant companion, Penny. Randy was born in Lake Worth, son of Mahlon and Marjorie (Swain) Hall. He was raised on D Street with his sisters Pam (Thompson), Jan (Bailey), and Val (Smith). After he graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1960 he attended Princeton University, graduating in 1964. He met Mary Lou on a blind date and they were married in Plainfield New Jersey. He worked as a chemical engineer in product development at Proctor & Gamble in Ohio and Clorox in California. In 1981, Randy returned to Florida to work with his father and learn the family business, Modern Venetian Blind. After 20 years, he retired and became a valued volunteer and trusted officer of the Genealogical Society of Palm Beach County and the Lake Worth High School Alumni Foundation. He lived life to its fullest -- birding with his wife, fishing with his buddies, travelling the world and all over the United States – always making time to stop and visit with family and friends along the way. A brilliant but modest man, he was loved and respected by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach.
