Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. Philis was the best neighbor one could have ever asked for.

Philly-hearing of your loss was such a shock. You were always a huge presence to everyone who was lucky enough to know you. You continual words of support, humor and cheer meant more to those around you than you know. We will all miss you so much while we also can take solace knowing you are an angel watching over everyone...just from a different view point now-Love you!

We have been school mates and neighbors from the 60's and as time went by, we got married and had our children and would often meet in a store on the run, but always manage to take time out and have rather long conversations. I will miss your warm smile and will always remember that you always brought out the best in yourself, no matter what you were going through, you called it "good". RIP my Sista! I know you're resting in the arms of Jesus.

Philistine never met a stranger. She welcomed everyone with love and her beautiful smile. The angels are lucky.  Rest in peace "Boo".

I ran into Philistine around two years ago; had not seen her since graduation. It was such a pleasure to see that she was still the same kind, natural, optimistic person I knew growing up. Her lively spirit will live on with many of us.
