Osiris was born in Nuevitas a port town in the Camaguey Province of Cuba on February 10, 1934 to Elsia and Jose Ramos.
He worked as an Auto Broker in West Palm Beach. Osiris enjoyed Baseball, especially the NY Yankees, his
numerous animals and fruit trees, as well as fixing cars and attending car auctions with his “cronies”;
affectionately named by his grandsons.
Osiris is survived by his son Osiris Ramos, of Stuart FL, daughter-in-law Jeannine, grandsons Osiris Jr. and Kyle Thomas Ramos, and his daughter Nelly Gavalakis, of New Jersey, son-in-law Michael, granddaughters Chloe and Sophie Gavalakis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Osiris was predeceased by his wife, Nelis, and his brother Jose “Nene” Ramos. Memorial services will be held at Hillcrest Quattlebaum on Tuesday June 28th from 5-8pm, with a graveside service on Wednesday June 29th from 11-11:45am.
