Bob - We were so sorry to hear about Michael. You may not know this but I met Michael first in Providence about 45 years ago when I went to a Bette Midler concert with Tony. I liked him right away - stylish, outspoken and fun. He helped me over the years with some furniture advice and recommendations when we went to Sicily. He was always very generous. Bob. I don’t know if you would remember me, but I always sat at the table next to where Michael stood at the Armory. The first few months I was at the Armory, quite frankly I was intimidated by Michael.  Then, I began to understand Michael. We became quite friendly over the last few years. Michael was always telling me to grow balls and stick up for myself. He would tell me that I was too nice and I let people walk all over me. Of course, he was right.      Michael was so interesting and always said what others were thinking.  When you walked into the Armory to pick him up for lunch, his face always lit up. I will miss Michael, a lot. He was one of those that you meet during your lifetime and you never forget.
