Mike was born on September 25, 1946 in Anderson, IN to George and Glenna Hulse Bennett. He served proudly and honorably in the USMC from 1965-1968, in Vietnam in 1968, then in the Marine Corps Reserve until 1971. Retiring as a Building Inspector from Palm Beach County, Mike enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and doting on his grandchildren.
A loving, caring, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mike leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family and friends from Indiana and Florida. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna, stepdaughter, Alison Smith, daughter, Amanda Bennett, and his two grandchildren, Riley and Ava. Also surviving are his sister, Sue (Don) Miller, brother Chuck (Janice) Sczesny, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by so many whose lives he touched.
Michael Bennett will be interred at the South Florida National Cemetery, receiving military honors.
