Martha B. Cianfrone passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 16, 2015 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Marty was born January 17, 1938 in New London, Connecticut to parents Joseph and Gladys Bunker. Her growing-up years were spent in Bethesda, Maryland where she graduated from Bethesda – Chevy Chase High School. She attended college in Tallahassee, Florida where she graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. She then started to work for First Federal of West Palm Beach where she remained until her retirement in 1998. She served as Vice-President/Bank Center Coordinator where she was responsible for 20 branches, their facilities and staff. Marty was privileged to work in community activities where she was a member of Zonta International, Lake Worth II, serving as president. She also served as president of the Palm Springs Merchants Association and the Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce. Marty was a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County and chair of the Visiting Nurse Association of Palm Beach County. She filled her retirement years volunteering in many ministries in her church, Holy Name of Jesus Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Frank; her sons Robert (TaTrina), and their children, Matthew and Keegan of Santa Monica, CA, and John (Michele), and their children, Mallory and Scott of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and her sister, Mary Beth Chandler of Tampa, FL. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Bunker and her sister, Grace Hutton. Through the years, Marty’s greatest happiness came from her family and friends and the wonderful experiences of volunteering in church and community. A celebration of her life will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, West Palm Beach, followed by interment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
