JOHNSON, Linda Allen Linda Allen Johnson, 77, died Sunday, December 10, 2017, with her family by her side in West Palm Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held at the Royal Poinciana Chapel in Palm Beach, FL on Friday, December 15 at 11:00AM. She was born August 7, 1940, in Miami, FL to Wayne and Augusta Allen. Her father was a Circuit Court Judge. Her mother was a stay at home mother to Linda and her sister, Diane. She graduated from Miami High School in 1958. She attended college at Stetson University, where she pledged Pi Beta Phi and met and later married Howard L. Johnson, Jr. Together, they went on to graduate school at Louisiana State University and returned to her husband's hometown, West Palm Beach, FL. She taught English and ESOL for many years between raising two sons, Jeffrey and Jeremy. Linda and her husband, Howard, have spent close to thirty summers in their beloved Chautauqua, NY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an active member of the Royal Poinciana Chapel and a long-time sustainer with the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. Her interests included family, piano, singing, bridge, reading and spending summers on Lake Chautauqua. She devoted much of her time in recent years to doting over her two grandchildren. She was loved by all who met her. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Howard Loomis Johnson, Jr.; her son, Jeffrey Scott Johnson and his girlfriend, Fidela Tabara; her son, Jeremy Wayne Johnson and his wife, Sunni Johnson; two grandchildren, Morgan Hope Johnson and Howard L.
