Joan Lomangino

Born on June 13, 1955 in Linderhurst, NY, first child of late Fred J. Lomangino and Elaine Travia Lomangino, the oldest of the cousins of the Lomangino clan of Charles and Sophie Lomangino. She lived on Long Island before moving to Aiken, South Carolina and then moving to Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Joan was a joyful person whose laugh was as infectious as it was identifiable. She always had a smile on her face and never a complaint or bad word about anyone. She was woman of strong faith and she has received her reward.

Joan loved her faith and family, most recently relishing the title of Great Aunt to Paul Anthony Marro II and Alice Jo Lomangino ( she was also a pretty Great Aunt to Fred and Stephen (Tomarrah) Lomangino, Peter (Roselyn), Victoria (James) & Fred Marro, and Veronica and Brianna Calhoun. She is survived by her brother Charles (Robin) Lomangino and her sisters, Elaine (Paul) Marro and Frances Lomangino.

She was an Extra Ordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist at St. Ignatius. She was also a past Vice President of the St Ignatius Women’s Guild.

Joan was in the accounting field, working for American Commercial Realty Corp as an executive assistant.

A visitation for Joan will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 N Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
