To Nicki and the Harris family,
  I will always remember the first time I met Ira in the Northwestern Hospital ER, following his ankle injury.  He was  an unforgettable man, with such a big personality, and I cherished his friendship during those years in Chicago.  As a young doctor I truly appreciated his inviting me to various events where I had a chance to see and meet interesting people from different walks of life.  What an amazing life he led, and how he cherished his family.  I am so sorry for your loss.
