Hilde was born in Offenbach Am Main, Germany. She split her time between New York and Palm Beach, Florida until becoming a
permanent resident here in 2014.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, George Schwab of Palm Beach, FL; daughter, Jeannie (Rick Fieger) of Northridge, California; sons, Robert and Gregory Schwab;
and daughter-in-law, Debbie Schott.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon (Gert).
Hilde loved being with her family and friends. All who loved her knew her kind and nurturing nature, positive attitude and beautiful smile. Hilde loved traveling, entertaining, gardening, reading, living a healthy life-style and helping those in need. Hilde loved being a life-long hotelier with her husband George.
She will be truly missed.
Services: Visitation will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center.
