

Harry Lee Lamb, Jr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Harry is survived by his loving wife Patricia Jones Lamb; children – Ronald and Daphne Lamb (Orlando, Fla.) and Artrisa Fulton (Las Vegas, Nv.); father – Harry Lee Lamb, Sr. (Vero Beach, Fla.); grandchildren – Ryan Lamb, Dominique Lamb, Christian Lamb and Sincere Strawter; great granddaughter – Kennedy Lamb; siblings – Sandra Forsythe (Harker Heights, Tx.) and Connie Denmark (Orlando Fla.). Additionally, left to mourn his memories is a host of close family and friends. Harry is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Lamb and brothers, Charles Allen Lamb and John Melvin Lamb.
Harry was born on November 9, 1947 in Fort Pierce, Florida to Harry and Elizabeth Lamb. He graduated from Lincoln Park Academy High School in 1965. In 1969 he graduated from University of Florida with a B.A. degree in Political Science. In 1972, he graduated from Florida State University School of Law with a J.D. degree.
Harry’s professional career began with a career in the United States Army as a member of the JAG Corps. Following an honorable discharge from the Army in 1990, Harry’s legal career continued in a number of positions, to include Administrative Hearing Officer for the Florida Public Service Commission; General Counsel and Deputy Executive Director for the Florida Commission on Human Relations; Partner with Perry and Lamb, P.A., Manager of Employment Investigations and Enforcements with the Florida Commission on Human Relations, Manager of Palm Beach County Equal Opportunity/Fair Housing Division and Director of Palm Beach County Office of Equal Opportunity from which he retire in April 2011.
Harry was a quiet and private person who committed his life to family and serving others. His wife remembers him as being kind, compassionate and sensitive … a man who loved the Lord. His children remember him as their provider, role model, mentor and friend.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation & Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL., 33417. Rev. Michael King will officiate the ceremony. A reception will be held immediately following the Memorial Service. Interment will be at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. SR 7, Lake Worth, FL. 33449. Condolences can be sent to
