It is with great sorrow, our family announces the passing of our sweet Geneva Patricia Schultz Cain, 84, of Palm Springs, Florida. Sadly, she gained her angel wings and passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Gerstenberg Hospice Center, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Patricia was born on October 16, 1938, to Carl William Schultz and Geneva Alberta Stover, in Logan Auglaize, Ohio. In 1955, Patricia married Ray Junior Cain, in Lancaster, Ohio. Together they had four children: Daniel Ray Cain, Kathy Ann Silvers, Roger Lee Cain, and William “Bill” Bartley Cain.
Pat desperately loved and devoted all of her time to her family, including her fur babies, whom she took stellar care of during the duration of their lives. She passed on her heart and soul to her children and grandchildren. She had a zest for life and a love of God that was unwavering. Her passion for her life was often shared with others through her reminiscent stories and close attention to detail. She could make anyone laugh, with her infectious personality, and storytelling abilities.
Pat was a connoisseur of delicious and unique foods; anything from pizza to Bratwurst was at the top of her list! She was able to share her love for her family through her cooking. She utilized her master chef abilities, to gather her family for weekly barbeques, where they were able to make lasting memories throughout the years.
She was an avid Elvis fan, and number one fan of all thing’s country music! Her greatest memories were centered around traveling to see country legends perform their greatest hits, with her beloved soulmate and husband, Ray. At the time of Ray’s passing, she was proud to say, they had been blissfully married for 55 years. For her, she described her marriage, as being a fairytale, straight out of her favorite romance novel.
She will be desperately missed by many, including her grandchildren.
