Florence A. Baker age 101 of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
She was born in Chicago IL on November 10, 1914 to the late William Haberzetle and Helen Haberzetle (Martin). Graduating from DePaul University, she earned her Master’s Degree in education and taught for 30 years in the Chicago Public School System. Florence married Eastman W. Baker (deceased) and had 2 sons; Robert A. Baker (deceased) and Thomas E. Baker. Her enduring love is survived by her son; Thomas and his children; Rachel A. (Herman) Klinger, III and their sons Herman IV and Wyndham and Alexander (Erin) Baker and their daughter Emerson Grace.
Florence celebrated her 101st birthday and last Christmas with her loving family she made in 2015.
Friends may be received from 2:00-4:00PM on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL 33417. A Graveside service and burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity in Florence’s memory.
