Felipe Sotolongo, 66, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019. He was born on December 12, 1952, in Jovellanos, Cuba to Jose and Neyda Sotolongo. Felipe and his family fled communist Cuba in 1961 for the United States. The family lived in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Georgia before settling in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Felipe was a true believer in the Oscar Wilde quote, “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” Felipe did more than exist - he lived his life to the fullest! He loved music, the ocean, spirited debates, and adventures of all kinds - but above all, Felipe was deeply devoted to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; his children, Sara Bucklin, Cristina Hungerford, Felipe David Sotolongo, and Gina Sotolongo; and his grandchildren, Dakota Bucklin, Violet Bucklin, and Quincy Hungerford.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose, his mother, Neyda, and his brother, Horacio.
