Elaine Bell Goldberg

Her greatest love was her husband Morty. When she was just 14, he announced his intention to marry her and in 1959, a week before her 21rst birthday, they married. They were together for 57 years, raising their family in Wilmington, DE and then retiring in Palm Beach County, FL. Elaine was very close to her family, citing her mother, grandmother “Bubby” Hannah Bank and aunt Janet London as her best friends.

Elaine was a homemaker, lovingly caring for 3 children and numerous pets over the years. She enjoyed traveling, vacationing in Florida and visiting her homes in the NY Catskill Mountains and Ocean City, MD. Elaine is survived by her children Stephanie Malin (Dennis), Alison Goldberg (Jack Kenney), and Todd Goldberg (Susan). Grand-children Ariel Maddox (Justin), Meredith Malin, Jake and Maeve Kenney, and Max and Ben Goldberg. Great grand-children Ryan and Mason Maddox. And her sister Cheryl Anderson. She had a special place in her heart for Ariel Maddox, who was her primary care giver during her later years.

Service is on Monday, January 7 at 12:45 pm at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to your local ASPCA.
