Edith Eileen W. Martin was born on March 21, 1923 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Mr. Gregory Woody and the late Mrs. Leila May Gregory. She worked for the War Effort during the WWII era in the "Rosie the Riveter" corp. helping to create flying machines and arsenal equipment for combat missions. Eileen later worked for Lockheed & Martin and helped with the cause in the Enola Gay missions. She loved her family and friends and was known as "Mom" by the neighborhood children, since she fed, cared and fostered most of the children growing up with her own children. Eileen was greeted in Heaven on December 23, 2012 by her late husband, James Martin, Jr. and her late son, James Paul Martin, who led her by the hand into Heaven's Gates. She will be forever loved and sorrowfully missed by her three loving children, John Martin of Indiantown, Florida, Stephen Martin of Jupiter, Florida and Lynda Isom and her husband Henry of Indiantown, Florida; seven grandhildren and eight grandchildren also survive her.
