Denver Eugene Smith, Jr. husband, father, and grandfather died suddenly at his home in Delray Beach, FL on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Denver was born on April 19, 1955 to Denver and Nancietta Smith in Crescent City, CA.
Denver loved living in Florida, racing cars, and traveling the world. He most recently returned from a month tour of China visiting Beijing, the Great Wall, Hong Kong, the Clay Soldiers and several other well-known Asian sites.
He is survived by his loving wife Leigh Wagner Smith, daughters Connie Sadler and husband Rusty, Angie Gibson and husband Jonathan, grandchildren Christian, Cody and Rhett Sadler, Kylie Hall, Jansen, Isabella, and Sophie Gibson, stepdaughters Erin McMaster, Kendal Mitchell and husband Jay. Also survived by sister Delmagene Smith-Combs, brother Donald Smith and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Denver was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Larry and Duane Smith, and son Denver Eugene Smith III.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida.
