Dear  Rob and Robin

She was a jewel in the van Buren crown and a friend who worked her way into our hearts in many special ways.  We still think of her fondly and miss her beauty, warmth and loving ways.

I am very sad to hear that we lost Cynthia! She was my partner on the trail for many miles and my friend at church. I will miss her smile and our fun friendship. Rest In Peace Cynthia .

I am so sad about Cynthia's passing.  She was a friend from many years ago and we often shared our dreams and goals.  I will miss seeing her on the island.

We got to know Cynthia initially through the code enforcement board. Then we found out she lived on our block. We got to know her as a warm, kind, generous woman with a great sense of humor. So sad to lose her. She will be missed.

Very saddened to hear about Cynthia, a very kind, gracious and wonderful lady.  She will be missed by everyone who was been fortunate to have known her.  Heaven has welcomed a beautiful soul.

Rest in peace little sister, and may God hold you in the palm of his hand, safe and sound, now and always.....

As Regent of the Palm Beach Chapter of the
Daughters of the American Revolution we  are deeply saddened and have lost a loyal daughter, 
who was always willing to help with all projects to help support our veterans, and 
our TAMASSEE DAR School.
Cynthia had served terms on our board as Parliamentarian.
Cynthia will be missed! Our deepest sympathy to her family.

Cynthia was always a delight to be around
and I was blessed to be one of her many friends.  She was beautiful, generous, gracious and talented, as well as, being an 
excellent business woman.  She was a loyal  and devoted member of of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution as was her lovely mother, Ann Vanderveer Rapalijihe Van Buren
With Cynthia’s passing I lost a dear friend 
and the Palm Beach Chapter lost a loved 
and valued member.

When I think of  your lovely sister,  it brings back memories of her warm and loving ways, always smiling, elegant, charming, supportive and caring.  Home-made cookies by the door for the children at Christmas, novelty decorations, easter baskets, and birthday flowers.  A bouncing spirit, a joie de vivre, and a lovely "socially distanced" visit on the Via Mizner a month ago when we both were picking up take-aways at Pizza al Fresco.  What can I say but there is a bright new star in the sky and sad and empty hearts below.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

A lovely lady who was always friendly. She believed and participated in service to her Community and lead by example. She will be missed by us all.

We are so sorry to hear the news about Cynthia.  We were fortunate to have Cynthia as a member of the Louis DuBois Chapter, Huguenot Society  of 'Florida thru her Rapalje line.  She truly was a blessed person and our sympathies go out to her family.

Cynthia was one of the sweetest, kindest human beings...she will be sadly missed. So incredibly sad about her passing. I know she is with her Dad in Heaven...and is smiling.
