CATHERINE 'KAY' RIVERA, 90 years old, a resident of West Palm Beach for 60 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Born on August 21, 1924 in Midland, MD, to John Devlin and Bridget Stakem, she was the last of 7 brothers and sisters, Jack, Harry, Dan, Ann, Agnes and Mary. Kay graduated from the Georgetown School of Nursing in 1945 and married Dr. Antonio Rivera. She was active in the Garden Club, the Azalea Club and the Midwives Club of West Palm Beach. She is survived by three children, Tony, Dennis and Cathy; four grandchildren, Allison, David, Michael and Marina and six great grandchildren. She was devoted to her family and friends. She will be missed and loved always. Go Irish!
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 7:00 PM. Graveside Committal Services will be held at 11:00 Am on Thursday, April 16, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
