Bebe Warren, 90 years old, of Palm Beach, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 5, 2018 following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Warren, MD, who died in 2014. Bebe is survived by three daughters, Leigh Singerman (Scott) of Wethersfield, CT, Julie W. Miles (Bob) of North Palm Beach, FL, and Amelia Hutcherson (Bill) of St. Augustine, FL; eight grandchildren, Katie, Kyle, and Logan, Megan and Ashley, and Olivia, Rachel, and Zack; and three great grandchildren plus another arriving soon.
Born in Greenville, SC, Bebe moved to the Palm Beach area in 1956 with her husband Don to establish his medical practice and raise a family. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach where she founded the First Baptist Day School in 1964 and taught 11th Grade Sunday School. Bebe shared her husband’s passion for Palm Beach Atlantic University and served as a past Chair of the university’s Women of Distinction awards luncheon; was a sustaining member of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches; and a former member of the Sailfish Club of Florida and the Everglades Club, Palm Beach.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the DeSantis Family Chapel, 300 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 with Dr. Ken Mahanes and Rev. Walter B. “Lucky” Arnold, III, officiating. The family will receive friends in fellowship in the Warren Library at Palm Beach Atlantic University immediately following the Service. The interment at Woodlawn Cemetery will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that contributions be offered in Mrs. Warren’s memory to the Bebe Warren Scholarship Fund at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
