Aurelio Arturo Padron

Our beloved Papi, Aurelio Arturo Padron, passed away on Tuesday, April 4,2023. Upon his passing, he was surrounded by loved ones at his home. He was a beloved Esposo, Papi, Tio, Abuelo, Bisabuelo and friend to many. Papi was born on November 26, 1926, in Cardenas, Cuba. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Ines Maria Maruri on November 12, 1950. He moved to the United States at age 38; briefly residing in Hialeah, until 1969, when he permanently settled in West Palm Beach, Florida. He worked at Sugar Cane Growers, Cooperative of Florida, until his retirement at age 65.

Papi was preceded in death by his parents Aurelio Padron and Malvina Villar-Padron, along with his brothers; Arturo, Alberto and by his beloved wife, Ines Maria Maruri-Padron. He is survived by his sister, Malvina Padron-Camejo, his sister-in-laws Martha Maruri-Garcia, Magaly Correa-Padron, and by his five children: Aurelio Padron (Dennis Helmling), Victor Padron, Francisco Padron, Alfredo Padron (Peggy Hutchison-Padron), and Ines Padron, along with his four grandchildren; Bryan Padron, Logan Padron, Gabriella Goudron, Mitchell Goudron, and his great-grandchild, Owen Chamberlain.

His funeral services will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral/Event Center, at 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33405, on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm, followed by a mass at 2:30. Burial will be immediately following the mass, with a CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE reception following the burial. In LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations may be made to a mass in his honor at St Juliana’s Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, to your choice of Catholic charities, or to a charity that actively assists children/adults with Autism.

As Papi embraced the simpler things in life, please feel free to dress casually, while attending his services.
