Anne was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 20th, to parents John and Mary Grillo. She married Gene Russo on September 22, 1951, they shared their love for over 69 years. As a couple they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and close friends.
Anne worked in New York City and New Jersey for many years as well as owning a family business. Together with her husband, she enjoyed life, travel, cruising, and spending time with family and close friends. She always enjoyed playing games, bingo, and card games and exercising in the pool for many years.
She was also involved in many volunteer activities including over 25 years of service with the Veterans Affairs of West Palm Beach, St. Mary's Children's Hospital, Morse Geriatric Center, along with the many SunFest and PGA events in West Palm Beach. She participated and supported research for breast cancer by participating and sponsoring friends in the Race for a Cure.
Anne is survived by her devoted husband Gene, son Joseph (Kathy, grandchildren Kristin and Kyle Hartung (Rowan, Hazel), Diana and Will Notar, and Michael Acunto), daughter Connie (George, grandchild Janice), and son Richard (Laura, grandchild Victoria), and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving siblings Tina (Katherine), Joseph, and Connie.

A Gathering will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, Fl. 33407. A Funeral Service will occur on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at the same location. An Entombment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach Fl. 33407.
