Alice M. Borchert, age 85 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Prior to moving from Wisconsin Alice was the former Proprietor of the Hickory Hills Campground in Edgerton, WI. Alice moved to the West Palm Beach area with her family in 1974 coming from Janesville, WI. She was the founder of the Greyhound Adoption League and involved with Greyhound Rescue for 20 years. Alice deeply loved her Lord and worshipped at the Hope Lutheran Church for the past 35 years. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband of 65 years, Raymond E. Borchert; her loved daughter, Dianne Dyson and her husband, Jerry of West Palm Beach, FL; her treasured granddaughter, Krista Dyson of Royal Palm Beach, FL; her two adored great grandchildren, Madison Pazienza of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Brian Cook of Lake Worth, FL; her two admired nieces and nephew, Cindy White and husband, Whitey of Lake Worth, FL, and Susie Pope of Plant City, FL, Gerald Bartel of Atlanta, GA; her loved great niece and two great nephews, Tammy Sinclair, Chris Sinclair and Kenny White and many close friends. Friends may visit and pay respects on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 1PM – 2PM at the Hope Lutheran Church, 7430 Belvedere Rd., West Palm Beach, FL 33411 with a Celebration of Life Service scheduled to begin at 2PM with Pastor John R Enter officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, FL.
